Retention of colour in dried biological matter - by coating with egg white, powdering the coated surface and drying

Method of conservation of biological matter comprises coating the outer surface of the material with raw white of egg, then powdering the whole of the coated surface with a powdered material and drying the treated material. The process is for conservation of material such as flowers and butterflies, e.g. for use in decorating confectionery.
