The switching device is for the lines passing to a milk measuring vessel for milking equipment where two of these lines can be selectively switched. All lines (8-11) consist of hoses and the switch device in the form of a squeeze valve element (2), which has a rotatable main shaft (3), with several squeeze rollers (7' to 7v) eccentrically supported on the main shaft pointing in different directions. The main shaft (3) can be turned into the different working positions by a hard lever (4).
