A shedding mechanism comprises a pair parallel spaced first and second camshafts 16,17 rotatably supported on a housing 15 connected to each other and driven by a drive gear 19, a plurality of cam plates 26, and a plurality of cam followers 33 associated respectively therewith, mounted alternately on the first and second camshafts, each cam follower being pivotable in response to rotation of respective one of the cam plates and plurality of heald frames 25 each movable up and down in response to pivotal movement of respective one of the cam followers to raise and lower a selected group of warp threads. <IMAGE> |
