PURPOSE:To perform continuously and simply line equalization by controlling the impedance of a variable impedance element to match the gain frequency characteristic of an amplifier to a line loss frequency characteristic which has been known. CONSTITUTION:In transistor 1, input signals are applied to the emitter, and the base is grounded. Then, in transistor 2, output signals are taken out from the collector, and the base is grounded. Resistor 8 is connected between the output end of transistor 1 and the earth equivalently, and resistor 10 is connected between the output end of transistor 1 and the emitter of transistor 2. Then, variable impedance element 5 is connected in parallel to resistor 10, and the attenuation quantity of a prescribed-length line can be compensated by varying the resistance value of variable impedance element 5, so that line equalization can be performed continuously and simply. |
