The clamp is for connecting V-belt pulley (7) or rotor (8) of a radial fan to a shaft (5) and eliminates material failures occuring around the clamping area due to axial vibrations. The body of the pulley or rotor has a dished part having a dia. larger than the outside dia. of the washer (27). On the opposite surface of the body (11) a second washer (26) is fitted which is large enough to reach the edge (23) of the dished area. When the nut (28) is tightened the dished part deforms towards the larger washer (26), creating additional clamping surfaces and reinforcing critical areas prone to breakage. |
