Universal road cutter roller - has cutting tool holder with bolt type stop for tool in socket unit

The road surface cutting machine has cutter holder which consists of a pref-rectangular-sectioned, radially opening socket-shaped housing unit with cross hole for a retaining bolt. Here the socket unit (1) is fitted with a stop (5) for the cutting appliance (4), pref. in the form of a steel bolt for insertion in a transverse hole in the socket, parallel to the hole for the retaining bolt (7). The unit can be thrust onto a base piece attached to the cutter roller and held by pins or screws in holes parallel to the roller axle. This accommodates either standard cutting tools or those with a cutter head at both ends.
