The multi-lamp housing for the vehicle has a series of conductor strips leading to a flat tag (14) moulded as part of the housing support. The strips are taken across a groove which forms a ratchet fitting for the connector plug. The contacts of the connector plug grip behind the ratchet for a secure connection. The design provides a simple, secure contact, with a large area contact wipe for each strip. The plug contacts are wider than the socket strips so that any misalignment can be allowed for. |
