<p>The cut-off valve has a section contg. a measurement chamber which indicates any lack of seal occurring in the closure. The volume of the measurement chamber is reduced when the valve closes and is connected via a channel to a control unit. The measurement chamber is formed in a bell-shaped, rigidly walled cylinder in which a piston slides. This piston carries the measurement chamber-side valve seat and the bell-shaped cylinder is attached to the retainer for the measurement chamber.</p> |
