The substrate with conductive paths, acting as fuses, has holes insertable on the pins in the base plate to form electric connections for the conductive paths. Pref. the holes are formed also in the conductive paths and thus the terminal pins can be inserted both through the substrate and these paths. The substrate is preferably of insulating material and the conductive paths may be provided by etching, printing, or vapour deposition. In order to provide desired fuse parameters, the dimensions and material of the conductive paths are selectable and their width may be varied over their lengths. In order to separate the individual fuses, the substrate may be slotted.
