<p>PURPOSE:To perform a packet level separating process at a high speed by deciding the kind of a received packet while the packet is accumulated in plural packet buffers and causing one of the buffers which does not meet the kind of the received packet to cancel the received packet based on a decided result. CONSTITUTION:A packet received from a line side is simultaneously accumulated in both of a data packet buffer 11 and call controlling packet buffer 12. Simultaneously, the kind of the packet is decided by a received packet kind deciding section 10. Then the section 10 instructs the kind of the received packet to a cancellation controlling section 13. The section 13 outputs a cancel signal to one of the packet buffers which does not meet the received packet so as to cause the buffer to cancel the received packet.</p> |
