<p>PURPOSE:To remove a malodor from the air of an automatic developing machine or liquid storage apparatus in low cost and to perform exhaustion without contaminating a room or the atmosphere by passing air containing a malodor through the rotary filter partially immersed in a liquid storage tank of an alkali liquid or water. CONSTITUTION:The air A above the developing tank 3, fixing tank 5 and washing tank 7 of an automatic developing machine is guided by partition plates such as the front and rear wall plates 14c, 14d and intermediate plates 14f, 14g of a lid member 14 to be sucked in a suction duct 15 from the suction port 15a thereof. Further, the air A is sent in the cylindrical filter 18 in an exhaust treatment chamber 17 by an exhaust fan 16. The exhaust treatment chamber 17 is filled with an alkali solution (or water) 20 and the cylindrical filter 18 is rotated by a motor 19. The filter peripheral wall 18a of the filter 18 is rotated so as to pass through the alkali solution 20 and always held to a state wetted with the alkali solution 20 and, therefore, sulfur dioxide or acetic acid gas is removed when the air A passes through the filter peripheral wall 18a. The air A passed through the filter 18 is discharged through a condenser 21.</p> |
