<p>PURPOSE: To provide connecting tube assemblies for conduits on the water surface with a conduit on a vessel in which the easiness in coupling works for each quick joint part is enhanced by forming a balance weight and a collar for giving a buoyancy to each quick joint part. CONSTITUTION: Connecting tube assemblies 6 and 15 are to connect conduits 9 and 18 afloat on the water surface with a conduit 2 on a vessel 1, wherein quick joint parts are provided on the assemblies 6 and 15 and the conduit 2 on vessel 1 and collars 11 and 17 to give a buoyancy are installed at the end parts where the assemblies 6 and 15 are coupled with the quick joint part 5. Balance weights 13 and 16 are installed on the side opposite the quick joint and at an appropriate distance from the collars 11 and 17 so as to work against the inclining motion exerted to the assemblies 6 and 15. As a result, the assemblies take a level attitude in the floating condition, and the depth of the quick joint parts sinking under the water surface remains comparatively small.</p> |
