<p>A process for the treatment of warp yarns as a row of substantially parallel threads, wherein said yarns are impregnated with excess treating liquor, said excess is removed from the yarns and the treated yarns are finally dried and wound up on a loom beam, the improvement of bringing the linear thread density of the yarns, at least in the excess liquor removal zone, to a value of 2 or higher, said value being the same over the entire width of said yarn row, and reducing said yarn density to the nominal thread count for weaving before said yarns are wound up on at least one loom beam.</p> |
