<p>PURPOSE:To produce a shaft for golf club which is light in weight but free from plastic deformation and breakage by making non-crystalloidal the surface of an iron or alloy steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an iron plate or alloy steel shaft, after sprayed or coated with such powder as B, Si, Ni, Cr and Co, shall be melted by lasing. When the powder and the surface thus fused are cooled and solidified, the surface becomes non-crystalloidal having higher strength and elastic limit. Since there is a little unevenness left on such non-crystalloidal surface, it will be coated or colored with an appropriate acrylic paint to become a product.</p> |
