PURPOSE:To perform safe and sufficient humidification of a room wherein a heater is installed, by providing a humidifier in an air duct of a circulator placed in the room. CONSTITUTION:A humidifying element 5 is provided in the air duct 4 of the circulator 1 placed on a floor in the heated room to suck up water from a water reservoir 6 by capillarity. Dried air flowing in the duct 4 is humidified by the sucked-up water and discharged from a blowoff port 8 into the upper part of the room. When the humidity of the air in the room is raised, the humidification is automatically reduced. Since the humidifier is placed at the blowoff side, a motor 9 for driving a fan 7 is not adversely influenced by water vapor. |
