A substance used for a fluorescent screen(5) of braun tube in B/W TV, has characteristics that; (a) it is a compound of fluorescent substance of zinc sulfoselenide, emitting yellow or yellowish green, revived by itself, whose formative formula is Zn(S1-a,Sea); [Zn (only 0.15<=a<=0.70), and of zinc sulfide, blue, whose revival quantity of Ag is 10-5g to 10-3g per 1 g of zinc sulfide, and (b) the weight ratio of the latter to the former is 0.50 to 1.60.
