发明名称 Improvements in and relating to endless belt conveyors
摘要 776,038. Endless belt conveyers. STUBBE, F. May 31, 1955 [June 2, 1954], No. 15642/55. Class 78 (1). In a belt conveyer adapted to pass through curves and which is supported at intervals along its length by stands displaceable in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction and spaced apart a predetermined distance from one another by thrust members, the thrust members are articulately connected to the stands, by joints or links, in such a way that the flexibility of the joints or links are restricted so that a predetermined relative angular position of two adjacent stands cannot be exceeded. As shown, the conveyer belt consists of a series of plates 3 interconnected by flexible portions 4 and covered by a rubber sheet 2. The stands of the framework each consist of a transverse base member 26 supported on castors 51, and supports 28, 29 for rollers 7, 9 and 37 which guide and support upper and lower runs of an endless driving element 8 of extruded rubber having a steel cable core and being secured to the plates 3. Rollers 9 and 37 are carried on separate stub shafts 34, 38 while roller 7 is carried on an axle 35 secured between the supports 28, 29. Support 28 is pivoted at 30 to base member 26, while support 29 is adjustably secured to the base member by fishplates 31 and bolts 32 engaging a slot 33 in the base member. Each thrust member 52 is extensible at each end by a threaded connection with an extension bolt 54 having a ball head engaged in a cup 55 secured across the supports 28, 29 whereby the tension of the belt may be adjusted. The angular play of the bolt 54 in the cup 55 limits the horizontal angle through which each stand can be deflected relative to the adjacent stand.
