<p>The rail parting tool has a drive unit for a rotary parting grinder disc and a clamp detachably securing it to the rail. Two arms hinge together to secure drive unit and disc to the clamp. The first arm (4) is rigidly secured to the clamp supporting portion (5) bearing against the rail and can extend at right angles from this portion, which bears against the rail running surface (6). The length of the arms can each be appreciably greater, pref. at least 11/3 the max. dia. of the disc (16).</p> |
