Surgical tights which can be cut without unravelling - to permit reuse of undamaged parts of the garment

Tights designed to allow parts of the limbs to be cut away are made from an assembly of tubular segments joined by aniintermediate hem having a weave which can be cut by scissors without causting unravelling of the adjacent meshes. Esp. suitable for surgical support where only part of the garment is subject to rapid wear or other damage. Pref. the intermediate hem incorporates one or more elastic yarns opt. blended with expanded texture yarns.
