An oven has a racksupport (12) mounted in oven chamber (11) for rotation about a vertical axis, e.g. a horizontal plate rotatably mounted in the floor of the chamber adapted to support a rack (S1, S2) loaded with goods for baking. The rack is movable into and out of oven chamber (11) through access opening (11A) provided in a sidewall of the oven chamber. To facilitate the pushing in of two or more racks to be positioned side by side within the oven chamber, the rack support (12) is stoppable in at least one rest position so that the racks (S1, S2) can be successively pushed in or pulled out obliquely to the access opening with an intervening rotation of the rack support (12) through a predetermined angle (2 alpha or 180 DEG ). <IMAGE> |
