Control circuit for direction flasher on vehicle - operates with control light reed relay connected in series with flasher unit to protect contacts

The flasher control circuit is designed for use in a road vehicle. It has the flasher unit (6) connected in series with the reed relay (15, 16) regulator for the control lamp (12). The connections ensure that the reed relay is not overloaded at any time, esp. through voltage spikes. The rest current flowing thrugh the flasher unit and control coil (16) of the reed relay, is not sufficient to operate the flasher lamps or the control lamp.
