<p>The towing aid for the rear of a lorry consists of a frame which is bolted to simple fittings on the rear of the chassis and a pivotted lifting boom (27, 28, 29) whose position is controlled by hydraulic servos (31) between the support frame and the boom. The boom is able to swing to each side as well as providing a lifting action. The system can be adapted to fit to most lorries with a min. of preparation. It provides a lifting action for heavy vehicles without a complex and bulky crane. The lifting boom is in telescopic sections for simple storage.</p> |
