Drive arrangement with stageless variable impulse has an input shaft rotatable around its centre line and provided with a radially extending flange. A cam is fitted which has a cylindrical plate through a hole in which the input shaft extends. This hole allows a swivel movement of the cam around the input shaft centre line. There is a drive connection between cam and input shaft provided with a swivel pin eccentrically fitted in the cam and located in the flange. This permits radial displacement of the plate in positions with varying eccentricity in relation to the shaft centre line. Integral with the plate is a massive centrifugal weight which activates the plate with greater eccentricity and with a torque varying in terms of the speed of rotation of the input shaft. The drive is completed by a crank which engages the cam, a counter weight with drive connection to the input shaft, and a shackle between cam and counter weight.
