Hops feed for brewing copper - with program controlled descending and ascending endless conveyor

Hops are introduced into a brewing copper in containers, attached to an endless conveyor. A descending and ascending loop of the conveyor dips into the wort. A proximity switch cuts off the conveyor drive before the leading container reaches the fluid level. When the hops are washed out, the spent containers are moved on and flushed out while new hops are introduced. This contributes to the automation of the brewing process and ensures a controlled dissolution of the hops. The dangerous manual removal operations are eliminated.
