Leakage monitor for fuel oil return pipe - has pressure holding adjustable non-return valve and switch connected to alarm

The leakage monitor is used in fuel oil return pipelines. The excess fuel flows on pumping through this pipe and and through a non return valve to a storage tank. The leakage monitor does not require external energy. The return flow pipe (12) has a pressure holding valve (6) directly where the pipe joins the tank (10). A pressure switch (7) is arranged between the pressure holding and non return valves. The pressure switch is connected to an alarm arrangement (8, 9). The pressure holding valve can be an adjustable non return valve which opens into the tank.
