<p>Plasticiser absorption rate of vinylchloride (co)polymers at below the Tg value, is increased by heating to >=85 degrees C and cooling at 3 degrees C/s. min to >=5 degrees C below the Tg value. Used for all usual applications, e.g. injection-moulding, extrusion, calendering, etc. Appearance of the particles, and physical and chemical properties of the polymer are unchanged. Plasticiser absorption rate in the cold is substantialy increased, so that plasticised mixts. can be made in slow-running mixts. with saving of energy and increase in output.</p> |
