The grass box is for sickle lawn mowers with suitable ventilation for complete filling of cut grass. The grass box is a closed body, which at the front is open to the mower for the entry of air and grass. On the left hand side of the mower, when viewed from the rear, there are fan-type slots which convey the air out of the box. A wire mesh in plastic or metal is provided in front of the ventilation fan slots and this prevents the grass from passing through the fan slots.
