PURPOSE:Title composition that is prepared by adding a metal compound and sulfur to a specific acrylic rubber, thus reducing compression set and giving well- balanced resistance to coldness and oil. CONSTITUTION:To (A) 100 parts by wt of an acrylic rubber resulting from radical compolymerization of (a) 30-89.5 parts of at least one alkyl acrylate having 1-8C alkyl group, (b) 10-60 parts of at least one alkoxyalkyl acrylate having 1-4C alkoxy and 1-4C alkylene groups, (c) 0-30 parts of at least one monomer sellected from monovinyl and monovinylidene unsaturated compounds other than above compounds, and (d) 0.5-10 parts of at least one alkenyl (meth)acrylate of the formula (R1 is H, methyl; R2, R3 are the same or different 1-4C alkyls), are incorporated (B) 1-5 parts of a metal compound as zinc white or lead red and (C) 0.2-5 parts of sulfur and/or sulfur-containing organic compounds. |
