<p>PURPOSE:To increase the turnover rate of stock sales with only one pipe for pieces of information on vehicles in stock and on needed ones, by installing exclusive-use terminal equipments in secondhand-car sales companies distributed in various places in the secondhand-car sales business world and by online-coupling them with a host computer installed in a commercial and industrial association through public circuits. CONSTITUTION:At the center, host computer 21 is installed which has the memory system composed of data file 23 stored with information on the secondhand-car stock and system library 22 stored with a program for leading a processing request made by terminal 3 or its own input-output apparatus to the conclusion in an online or offline mode. Then, data inputted by its own input device are buffered, the dialing of a telephone set is done to call computer 21, and the receiver is set to an acoustic coupler for the indication of transmission. Further, a terminal equipment transmitting the buffering data is installed in each station and computer 21 performs a process according the abovementioned program by process request data from terminal 3 and then sends its answer to the terminal requesting the process.</p> |
