PURPOSE:To enable the recognition of the time and calendar information to be surely performed by announcing the calendar and time contents and the word elements of these units in voice. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator CG outputs the basic signal of the watch. The signals divided from this signal down to 60 Hz by a frequency divider DV are supplied to a counter CO, by which they are suitably divided to respective signals of the month, date, day, hour and minute and are stored in the respective regions of a clock register R. Further the storage contents of the circuit R are introduced into a register B and are thence taken into a buffer memory D. The initial address of the desired voice is determined CC according to the contents of the circuit D and the output thereof and the initial address data determined by the circuit CB are supplied to a counter AC, by the output whereof the respective word element pieces of ROM-RM are selected and are subjected to D/A conversion, after which they are outputted as voice from a speaker SP. |
