PURPOSE:To reduce a loss at a light-load time, by charging a capacitor, accumulating energy turning off a GTO, with a cathode current flowing to the GTO via a transformer. CONSTITUTION:To gate turn-off thyristor GTO11, transformer 21 is connected in series and capacitor 14 is connected in parallel to its secondary winding W2 via resistance 22 and diode 23. One terminal of the capacitor 14 is connected to one terminal of the primary winding, and the other is to the cathode of auxiliary thyristor 15; the anode of auxiliary thyristor 15 is connected to gate G of GTO11 and the cathode of diode 16, the anode of which is connected to the cathode of GTO11. |
