PURPOSE:To enable copying to be well perormed and achieve the improvement in printing speed and durability of apparatus by induction heating exothermic material with an induction coil and making printing on recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency oscillator 2 is controlled according to the pattern information to be printed with a control circuit 1 to apply high frequencies properly to an induction coil 3. Arrangement is so made that the carriage 4 mounted with this induction coil 3 is reciprocated along a guide shaft 5 by a driving mechanism. A paper feeder 7 which moves the recording paper 6 comprising coating heat- sensitive material 14 composed of color formers 12, 13 on base paper 11 at a right angle to the moving direction of the carriage 4 is disposed. Since the recording paper surface is heated by induction heating in this way, simultaneous recording even on the recording paper laminated with plural sheets is feasible and in addition, there are no abrasion, thermal deterioration and the like and the reliability of the apparatus may be improved. |
