PURPOSE:To automatically steer a moving agricultural machine on the basis of the result of detection by one of sensors which detect the right or left displacement of the machine relative to a reference line, by providing said sensors at two places on the machine away from each other in the front-to-rear direction. CONSTITUTION:The agricultural machine 3 proceeds along the boundary between a tilled area B and an untilled area A. The sensors 6, 7 mounted on the front and rear parts of the machine 3 receive electric waves from a transmitter 5 installed on the reference line with which the center line of the machine should coincide. The sensors have three receiving sections 6a-6c, 7a-7c, respectively. A steering control machanism 8 is operated on the basis of the result of detection by the sensor 7 to drive a steeing circuit or a brake circuit 10. |
