PURPOSE:To make possible multiple tubes of dissimilar diameters to be inserted at equal speed, and to improve the working efficiency, by including such tube inserting device as a couple of pinch rolls consisting of the corrugated roll, the split roll, etc., in the inserter for the heat exchanger tube, etc. CONSTITUTION:The main body 9 of the tube inserting device is slidable against the tube plate 2 so as to approach and withdraw; this main body 9 consists of the rotatable lower corrugated roll 12 provided with grooves 12a at a specified pitch P, and the rotatable upper roll assemblage 16 in which multiple couples of the left and right conical split rolls 19A, 19B, are mutually energized in the direction of the axis 18 through the slide plate 22 and the elastic body 20; a group of tubes 6a are placed between two rolls 12, 16, and are closely pressed by the cylinder 23; the level of tubes 6a is set to the level of holes 4, 5, of the handle 1 through the hole 27 of the strap 6; the guide metal 7 is inserted into the hole 4, and the tubes 6a are inserted into a specified position by the driver 15. (A part of the procedure is stated in a separate paragraph)even in case of the dissimilar diameter of tubes, the small diameter tube 6a2 is closely pressed between two rolls 12, 16, and is rotatable at the speed equal to the speed of the large diameter tube 6a1; the inserter is thus constituted, so that multiple tubes of dissimilar diameters can be inserted at an equal speed, and the working efficiency can be improved. |
