<p>The sailboard has a hinging mast holder, slewing and tilting in all directions, and accommodating two or more masts. A symmetrical sail is fixed to the masts, and held taut by a tensioning boom. The mast holder can be so constructed that the entire rigging tilts and slews freely on the sailboard, enabling the masts to pivot about two points under the action of the boom, to hold the sail taut. The boom can be ergonomically designed, and the sail can have an upper boom.</p> |
