<p>PURPOSE:To uniformize the temperature of material, by changing the rate of water feed of the spray, etc., arranged on the exit side of the stand, according to the variation of the rate of plastic deformation detected while the material is being rolled. CONSTITUTION:The arithmetic unit 1 operates the rate of plastic deformation of the material at the present rolling moment, according to the input of the rolling information group A; the output of the arithmetic unit 1 is inputted to the reference memory 2 through the lock-on-relay RL; when the reference data is obtained by the arithmetic unit 1, the lock-on-relay RL is put OFF, and the real control is started. That is, the difference C between the output of the arithmetic unit 1 and the reference data is inputted to the arithmetic unit 3 for the opening of the valve, and the opening of the valve is decided; hereby the feed rate of water to be sprayed is adjusted through the valve opening controller 4. On the contrary, for the purpose of controlling the total level of temperature, depending on the output of the thermometer 6 on the exit side of the stand, the variation of the reference data of the reference memory 2 is operated by the feedback distributer 7 for the temperature on the exit side; this result is added to the reference memory 2, for changing the total level of the water feed.</p> |
