<p>The lock has a cylinder accommodated in a cylindrical housing and with a number of spring-loaded locking plates actuated by the key. Near the closed end of the cylinder (2) is an aperture (6) inclined to the cylinder axis, and which in the engaged position is in line with another one (9) in the housing (1). These apertures accommodate two spring-loaded locking pins, the length of each of which is such that in this position the one furthest from the axis fits in both apertures when the key is removed, thus locking the cylinder in position in relation to the housing. When the key is inserted, the pin closest to the axis is thrust aside, and moves the other one clear of the aperture the cylinder.</p> |
