<p>A biaxially oriented linear polyester film is made from a dicarboxylic acid component contg. 3-20 mol.% of a cpd. forming units of formula (where R is satd. (a)cyclic alkylene, arylene or aralkylene and R1 is =6C alkyl, aryl or aralkyl), and a diol component. The film is used for electrical insulation and in capacitors. The film is non-flammable without detracting from its electrical properties.</p> |
