PURPOSE:To make the adjustment of oscillation characteristic possible and make an oscillator small-size by providing a reactance circuit at the connection point between a main waveguide and a breaking wave guide. CONSTITUTION:Breaking wave guide 11 which becomes a breaking area at an oscillator operating frequency is connected to main wave guide 10, and is terminated by short-circuit plate 1 in the position distant from connection point c by a prescribed length. FET 5 is put near point c, and source terminal 8 is connected to the waveguide H face wall, and simultaneously, drain terminal 6 is connected to the tip of bias terminal 12 which is inserted vertically to the waveguide H face approximately and is fixed by dielectric piece 13. Then, dielectric plate 14 provided in waveguide 11 is used as a support material to extend gate terminal 17 by prescribed dimension components and connect gate terminal 7 to the bias circuit provided on plate 14. Coupling window 15 is positioned at the point distant from terminal 12 toward the load by approximately 1/2 guide wave length at the operating frequency, and hollow 16 is constituted. Bias terminal 17 is inserted into hollow 16 to load varactor 9. |
