<p>PURPOSE:To provide functions convenient to study, etc. to a VTR by detecting a cue signal when the rewinding of tape is set during reproducing of a certain block in the tape and rewinding automatically to the top position of that block. CONSTITUTION:A CTL track 2, an audio track 3 and video signals between these are formed in a tape 1. Top signals ST and end signals SE are recorded in each of the respective block B1 thru B3 of said video signals. On the other hand, the top signal ST and end signals SE of the tape 1 are detected with an audio head 10, are discriminated with a decoder 13 and are then supplied to a system control circuit 19. At the same time, a CTL counter 16 is controlled by the output of the CTL head 14 and when the value coincides with the value of a CTL memory 17, a signal is outputted and is supplied to a control circuit 19. Hence, the reproduction may be performed again after fast feeding the tape automatically up to the top position by operation of push buttons 5 thru 9, whereby the effect of study may be enhanced.</p> |
