Pivotable bucket for excavator - has mounting for demolition arm of which forked end engages bucket fulcrum and body is pinned to bucket

The pivotable back-acting bucket (2) is designated to accept a demountable demolition arm (14). A jack (4) is used to pivot the bucket about an axis (3) on the end of the boom, and the arm is attached by prim and sec couplings. The prim. coupling utilise a bracket (17) which cantilevers from the back of the arm, a retaining pin (24) passing through aligned holes (22, 23) in the bucket and the bracket tip, and a bracket-integral sto (21) providing positive location between two bucket teeth (13). The sec coupling utilises a forked (15) arm and engaging the axle (3) forming the bucket fulcrum.
