The flexible pipe connector has an insert (1) with a tapered outside wall and a tapped bore. The insert is pushed into the flexible pipe (8). The adaptor (3) has a flanged end (10) and a tapered wall (3b) followed by a threaded stem which screws into the insert. The sleeve (2) contains the pipe walls between the insert and the flange. The flange fits inside the connector nut (4) with a thread on the inside. A similar adaptor may be assembled with an outside thread for joining to the connector nut.
