Compounds are disclosed of the general formula: wherein Het and Het' are each selected from imidazole optionally substituted by methyl or bromo, pyridine optionally substituted by methoxy, hydroxy, chlorine or bromine, thiazole and isothiazole; Z is sulphur, SO or methylene and X is sulphur, CHNO2 or NCN. These compounds are useful as histamine H2-antagonists.
