<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly and alternately vary the pressure of fluid in a fluid passage, by alternately applying reverse electrical currents to a solenoid to repeat the reciprocation of a plunger. CONSTITUTION:When a reverse electrical current for producing a magnetomotive force almost equal to that of a permanent magnet 4 is applied to the solenoid 5 as passages 8, 9 remain connected to each other, there is no magnetic flux in a magnetic circuit and a disc-shaped armature is released from the magnetic force. Thus, the plunger 1 is moved rightward by the fluid pressure in the passage 8. At that time, a check valve 10 closes most of an opening 14 first. However, a bleeder valve 11 is open to permit a small quantity of fluid to pass through a restricting passage provided between the valves 10, 11. When the plunger 1 is moved further, the opening 14 is totally closed by the valve 11. Since the opening 14 is sequentially closed by the valves 10, 11, the sharp rise in the fluid pressure in the passage 8 is prevented.</p> |
