The bench constituting an integral part of a circular saw appliance for DIY-purposes has an attachment enabling working with wide sheets. The bench (1) has a circular saw (11) operating in a slot (10) and stands on four legs (2). The front and rear edges of the bench are angled and have laterally extended brackets connected by a guide rod (7). The surface of the bench also has a mitre-cutting device (13) and on the opposite edge a parallel guide (12). The width extension consists of two sets of slidable arms with slots on part of their length. The arms can be fixed in the required position by tightening bolts.
