PURPOSE:To make analog display with small power consumption without making month end correction of the time and calendar date fast feeding the second hand via counter which is corrected by odd and even month signals or the like. CONSTITUTION:The number of days of each month has been stored in the memory of a control circuit 14. The digits of the data of a counter 16 which counts the date, hour, minute and second are subjected to month end correction according to the count value of a counter 15 which counts 1-Hz pulses. When a crown 3 is calendar- display operated, the 16-Hz pulses from a selection circuit 9 are counted in counter 15, 20 via te circuit 14 and at the same time, the second hand is fast fed. The count value of the counter 15 and the digits of the date of the counter 16 coincide, then the pulse outputs from the circuit 9 stop and the calendar date by the second hand is displayed via detection circuit 18, circuit 14. On the other hand, when the count values by the counters 17, 20 of 1-Hz and 16-Hz pulses coincide in a detection circuit 19, the 1-Hz pulses from the circuit 9 are re-selected via the circuit 14 and the time display is reset. Hence, the display of the time and calendar date of small power consumption is accomplished without undergoing month end correction and without reversing the second hand. |
