A transfer printing method on a leather surface giving multicolored patterns and clear/uniform single color similar to those printed on woven goods was described. A printing ink comprised 2.5 wt.% disperse dye, 1.25wt% Feregal, 6.25wt.% water, 75 wt.% toluene and 15wt.% PVC. A transfer paper having patterns printed with the printing ink was put on the leather surface. (I) I was heated and pressurized at 240≦̸C for 3 sec.
