The oil cooled i/c engine has dry sump lubrication, a pressure pump for feed to the bearing points, and a return flow pump to the oil collecting in the engine lower part. The return flow pump (8) is of the high pressure type insensitive to air, and with its pressure side (9) is connected to the cooling spaces provided in the engine housing (3). The pump's suction connections (7) are connected to a suction trough (6) arranged in the base of the engine block (1).
