The roller bed for the transportation of the rolling stock has each individual roller composed of a solid or hollow-cylindrical rubber body, with an adhesive bonded or vulcanised outer steel rings. The roller bodies are fastened on the rollers using axial chuck- or clamping units. In use the roller bed is relatively quiet.
