Trimmer electrodes are urged apart by spring action through being slightly curved. They are prevented from touching each other by insulating plates. For capacitance adjustment they are compressed by an insulating screw passing through holes in the electrodes and insulating plates. All electrodes (10) are of the same shape and size, and are stacked together with the insulating plates (16) in a recess (28) of an insulating case (22). The case includes an insulating sleeve (32) with an inner thread for the screw. Slot (42, 44) are made in the case walls accommodate projecting soldering tags (46) of the electrodes.
